Giacchino pays tribute to the giant monster movies of the past, using a big, brooding orchestra to great effect. The music has a very dramatic and menacing feel to it, slowly building and releasing tension with an array of strings and choral crescendos. As the film only had music over the end credits, this was released as a download-only single(entitled "Roar!"), but it is still definitely worth getting.
