A two-pack of Morricone scores that is worth looking in to. The Great Silence is a sombre and tragic sounding Spaghetti Western, that contains some truly entrancing music. It can however become bogged down in slow, ominous tracks that don't do much as a stand-alone listen. That Splendid November is a strange mixture of beauty and extremely odd, experimental music that makes for an interesting listen.
