The best of the music from the Showa era of Godzilla films, which means a variation in quality. On the one hand you have material from the brooding, theme-driven classic scores. On the other hand you have the cheesy, dated music that became more prevalent as the series progressed. There are also some tracks of sound effects throughout, which are neat but ultimately distract from the music.
